Speaking Flash back

PHEW.... it is burning HOT outside.... been this way pretty much all week. Fortunately I work at an ice cream shop, so i will stay cool at work. This online course is a little bit more confusing than i thought because I keep misreading things. I think i am getting the hang of it now though... So... to answer the question about apprehension with public speaking, I would have to say that it doesn't apply to me. Honestly I have no problem speaking in front of people and I am quite used to speaking out loud...especially in class. However, I am not perfect and I am aware that I do have some things to work on, most importantly-my volume. When I was in high school I was on my school's mock trial team, and I played a defense attorney. At auditions I must have done well because I was awarded a major role- defense attorney. I was even chosen to do the Closing statement, which was a big deal. Too make this long story short.... i ultimately ended up trading my closing statement with my co-attorney, to do the opening statement. I was told I didn't have enough punch, and a closer has to be loud and most importantly remembered...every practice I thought i was loud but the cold truth was that i just couldn't get my points across loud and effective enough.
